Last week, I was totally overwhelmed by you all responding in such masses to my Four years of Ravalation post. Blogging started out as a way to do something with my screenies and improve my English, but has become so much more - and not in the least place due to you support. It was about time to do something back, so I've decided to do another giveaway!
As an extension of my Fashion Friday posts I'll be giving away some fashion - Star Wars style, of course. Major thanks go to Constant Warfare for posting my referral, so I had spare cartel coins to fuel this giveaway. You rock!
13 winners:
1) Handmade R2D2 & Stormtrooper wrist warmers (1 winner); 2) Thexan's robe + lightsaber (1 winner); 3) Zakuul Knight armor (1 winner); 4) Visionary pack (10 winners)

Mandatory salesman's pitch
Is your apartment cluttered with trophies? Are you wearing Karagga's hat and oven mitts? Or does your companion qualify for Njessi's Hall of Shame? Fear not, Ravalation comes to the rescue with the latest Zakuulan fashion. Here's the Star Wars stuff you can win:
1) R2D2 & stormtrooper wrist warmers
Apart from gaming and taking screenies, I also like to craft occasionally. I made these R2D2 and stormtrooper wrist warmers last summer, when I was meeting other gamers in England. They're a great cure for cold hands when you're gaming! The warmers are unisex and medium sized (my wrist circumference is 16 cm / 6.3 inch), but because they are knitted, they are stretchy and will probably fit most people. Now I know I can pull it off, my next project is knitting fingerless gloves with these patterns.
The rest of the stuff I'm giving away are virtual items in the massive multiplayer online game Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR), so if you're not interested in that game you can skip the following and scroll down to the giveaway right away.

2) Thexan's robes and lightsaber
What better way to troll Arcann (you know, the guy that put you in carbonite for five years) than to show up in his dead brother Thexan's robes (the guy on the left in the picture)? Not the most tasteful way to send a message, I suppose, but definitely effective. Earn the possibility to make this powerful fashion statement by entering the giveaway below! I'll also include Thexan's golden lightsaber.
3) Zakuul Knight armour set
During one of our recent adventures, Ravalation managed to get her hands on an original Zakuul Knight armour set. Blend in and get immediately respected by the populace of Zakuul! This armour is perfectly suited for undercover operations on Zakuul. The Knight armour set comes with a free sample of Valkorion's favourite metal polish (don't forget that rusty spot on the breastplate). Both Thexan's armour and the Zakuul Knight armour set are cosmetic sets of moddable armour that you can fill with armorings, mods and enhancements yourself. They are adaptive and can be worn by characters of all levels.
4) 10x Visionary pack
Finally, I'm giving away a Visionary pack ten times as a small extra. RNGsus knows what's in there, but surely it'll look better than Karagga's hat.The giveaway
During my last giveaway I've had friends who shared it, but felt conflicted because they would be hurting their own chances. To circumvent this, I'm experimenting with an interface called Rafflecopter. If you share the giveaway with friends, you'll get extra entries to compensate for it. Hopefully it'll work out!For those not familiar with Rafflecopter: after logging in or entering your contact details, 3 actions will show up (Leave a comment / Do you want the wrist warmers? / Do you want the SWTOR prizes?). Make sure you answer all three. If you get selected as a winner but you didn't leave a comment, I'll have to disqualify you - have to play it fair! After that, you can decide to use the additional options to help spread the word about my blog (which I'd love!) and increase your win chance, but this is totally optional. As long as you've done the first three actions, you're eligible for the prizes.
I was totally confused the first time I encountered a Rafflecopter giveaway, so hopefully this makes some sense. Feel free to ask me in the comments if anything is unclear.
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Rules:
- As a Dutchie, I miss out on half the geeky giveaways because they're restricted to one country (usually the US) - so I decided to instead open this giveaway world wide! I'll pay the shipping costs (where applicable), but I won't be responsible for the delivery.
- If any items unexpectedly become unavailable on the cartel market at the end of this giveaway, I reserve the right to pick other prizes worth the same amount of cartel coins.
- If you win something, I'll use the e-mail address you filled in to contact you. If you don't reply within 48 hours, I'll contact someone else instead, so make sure you check the address you submitted regularly.
- The contact information you leave to participate in this giveaway will be handled carefully and will not be visible to anyone but myself. Naturally, I'll delete all entered data after the giveaway has ended.
- I'll check the data of winners and will give the prize to someone else if you if you didn't fill in the options truthfully. Keep it fair!
Please double check if you left a comment below, or your entry won't be valid. If you have trouble commenting, contact me.
You can enter until 14 May. Good luck and may the fourth be with you!
Edit: the giveaway has ended. You can find the winners here.
i love chewie!!
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love BB-8?
ReplyDeleteYoda!
ReplyDeleteI would say Revan from KOTOR.
ReplyDeleteSame Revan was awesome
DeleteDon't put me in the draw - I don't play SWToR and I'm not even that much of a Star Wars fan. I just wanted to add my congratulations on your four-year anniversary. I meant to comment on the original post but it's been a bit of a week!
ReplyDeleteKeep on doing that thing that you do!
Thank you! I'm always glad when you drop by and leave one of your infamous thoughtful comments. :)
DeleteI have to admit that it's hard to pick. Movies wise, gotta be R2. You have to love a wise cracking droid. Games wise, Gault and Darth Marr with a side of Doc.
ReplyDeleteOh that Thexan armor looks bad ass. Wish I was playing to put in my raffle. Best of luck to everyone and awesome of you, Rav!
ReplyDeleteFavorite Star Wars character? Hmm.....
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say Han Solo, but I'd imagine that a ton of people would say that, and going with the crowd really isn't the Redbeard way.
But you know, I think that Lando Calrissian is my favorite. And it has nothing to do with Billy Dee Williams per se, but that he tries to out con the Empire, fails to the detriment of both Cloud City and his fellow underworld friend (Han) and his pals, but he owns his mistake and makes it right.
Vette. Reaffirmed after playing the latest chapter of KotFE
ReplyDeleteVette! <3 I was RL loling when she made that entry in the last chapter. Love her so much. :)
DeleteI was thinking about writing Jar-Jar but since you already mentioned him it wouldn't be the same. :P I don't think I can really pick a single character because the great thing about Star Wars are the relationships between the characters! I really love Rey as one of the newest additions to the universe though.
ReplyDeleteI am actually a super fan of Satele Shan, and lucky she is still alive. Although it would be nice if she would do now something constructive for alliance. However she is still very cool :D.
ReplyDeleteYou've got some serious knitting skills, lady! Those wrist-warmers are fab.
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you. <3 These were the first patterns with multiple colours I tried out, so that makes me happy!
DeleteFree Fashion! I'm in. Favorite is Rey because, duh, it's Rey.
ReplyDeleteBoba Fett!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would probably be Shae Visla from the STWOR games!
ReplyDeleteI feel torn about my favorite character - there are so many good ones, and a lot of them change substantially over the course of books/movies/games that they're in. I'm tempted to say Grand Admiral Thrawn, but I think in the end the honor has to go to Obi Wan Kenobi.
ReplyDeletethe best mdps in the movies: Mace Windu
ReplyDelete:)
My favorite character was, and will always be, Han Solo.
ReplyDeleteHere's wishing everyone the absolute best of luck with this awesome giveaway!
From SWTOR, Darth Marr. From the movies, Obi Wan Kenobi.
ReplyDeleteThat's a tough one because there are so many good choices. I'm a fan of Obi Wan Kenobi, however.
ReplyDeleteAlso, my wife knits. Where did you get the pattern for the wrist warmers?
Obi-wan Kenobi
ReplyDeleteI'm actually a big fan of Jar Jar.
ReplyDelete...
Just kidding:) That's a tough choice! My official favorite is Chewy, but I'm also a big fan of Corso Riggs<3 Does he count?
OMG, Ashlee, you nearly got me a heart attack there! And of course we're not excluding any cute spaceboys. <3
DeleteFrom the films I'm gonna have to go with Zam Wesell because, well, Space Centipedes.
ReplyDeleteIt was a hard choice to pick one from SWToR, but I think Gault wins by a narrow margin just because I play a fBH and having him as a comp on Taris is hilarious.
I've got to say that canderous was one of the more intriguing characters I've seen in game, besides revan, he's been through so much, whether it's internal or external struggle, and has met some of the strongest people in the entire known galaxy. My second would be revan ofc, maybe even visas, but hey I don't wanna list every character from my fav game series
ReplyDeleteBoba Fett and Torian Cadera are tied, in my books. My mother argues with me, that I shouldn't like the "bad guys". But my constant assertions, that Mandalorians aren't really "bad guys" tend to fall flat where she's concerned. I finally just told her, that they're strong and dynamic enough to capture my everlasting fascination and she seems to accept that much. In the meantime, I am so dang eager for Chapter 14 to be released finally.
