Ravalation's Star Wars fashion giveaway (closed)

Last week, I was totally overwhelmed by you all responding in such masses to my Four years of Ravalation post. Blogging started out as a way to do something with my screenies and improve my English, but has become so much more - and not in the least place due to you support. It was about time to do something back, so I've decided to do another giveaway!

As an extension of my Fashion Friday posts I'll be giving away some fashion - Star Wars style, of course. Major thanks go to Constant Warfare for posting my referral, so I had spare cartel coins to fuel this giveaway. You rock!

1) R2D2 & stormtrooper wrist warmers

Apart from gaming and taking screenies, I also like to craft occasionally. I made these R2D2 and stormtrooper wrist warmers last summer, when I was meeting other gamers in England. They're a great cure for cold hands when you're gaming! The warmers are unisex and medium sized (my wrist circumference is 16 cm / 6.3 inch), but because they are knitted, they are stretchy and will probably fit most people. Now I know I can pull it off, my next project is knitting fingerless gloves with these patterns.

The rest of the stuff I'm giving away are virtual items in the massive multiplayer online game Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR), so if you're not interested in that game you can skip the following and scroll down to the giveaway right away.

2) Thexan's robes and lightsaber

What better way to troll Arcann (you know, the guy that put you in carbonite for five years) than to show up in his dead brother Thexan's robes (the guy on the left in the picture)? Not the most tasteful way to send a message, I suppose, but definitely effective. Earn the possibility to make this powerful fashion statement by entering the giveaway below! I'll also include Thexan's golden lightsaber.

3) Zakuul Knight armour set

During one of our recent adventures, Ravalation managed to get her hands on an original Zakuul Knight armour set. Blend in and get immediately respected by the populace of Zakuul! This armour is perfectly suited for undercover operations on Zakuul. The Knight armour set comes with a free sample of Valkorion's favourite metal polish (don't forget that rusty spot on the breastplate).

Both Thexan's armour and the Zakuul Knight armour set are cosmetic sets of moddable armour that you can fill with armorings, mods and enhancements yourself. They are adaptive and can be worn by characters of all levels.

4) 10x Visionary pack

Finally, I'm giving away a Visionary pack ten times as a small extra. RNGsus knows what's in there, but surely it'll look better than Karagga's hat.

The giveaway

During my last giveaway I've had friends who shared it, but felt conflicted because they would be hurting their own chances. To circumvent this, I'm experimenting with an interface called Rafflecopter. If you share the giveaway with friends, you'll get extra entries to compensate for it. Hopefully it'll work out!

For those not familiar with Rafflecopter: after logging in or entering your contact details, 3 actions will show up (Leave a comment / Do you want the wrist warmers? / Do you want the SWTOR prizes?). Make sure you answer all three. If you get selected as a winner but you didn't leave a comment, I'll have to disqualify you - have to play it fair! After that, you can decide to use the additional options to help spread the word about my blog (which I'd love!) and increase your win chance, but this is totally optional. As long as you've done the first three actions, you're eligible for the prizes.

I was totally confused the first time I encountered a Rafflecopter giveaway, so hopefully this makes some sense. Feel free to ask me in the comments if anything is unclear.

• As a Dutchie, I miss out on half the geeky giveaways because they're restricted to one country (usually the US) - so I decided to instead open this giveaway world wide! I'll pay the shipping costs (where applicable), but I won't be responsible for the delivery.
